Our Certifications

At Mold Inspection Sciences, we take
certification and education seriously.
Our inspectors have received training from
various different organizations and, where
required, are certified and/or licensed by
the State in which they work.
Our inspectors are licensed and/or certified by one or more of the
following organizations:
AmIAQ - American Indoor Air Quality Council.
The Texas Department of State Health Services.
These organizations require educational training, examinations, and/or
years of field experience to become certified. In some states and from
some organizations,a minimum number of continuing education
training hours must be completed on an annual basis in order to
retain certification and good standing.
Active participation in the organizations is key as it allows our company
to learn from others in our industry and share the information that we
have gained in the field working with clients. Michael Bains, president
of Mold Inspection Sciences, is a former member of the Advisory Board
of the Irvine Chapter of the IAQA.
We are proud of our certifications and the level of expertise that
they convey. It is our goal to continue to participate in all of these
excellent organizations and to help foster the growth and ethical
practices of our industry.

At Mold Inspection Sciences our focus is on the individual needs of
our clients. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service
and partnering with our clients to fulfill their inspection requirements.

Our Goal is simple: complete satisfaction. We want all our valued
clients to feel 100% confident in referring us to their friends and
family. In fact, over half of our business originates via referrals from
our previous clients - a testament to our inspectors care and skill.
Working in Real Estate, our President, Michael Bains, noticed
a variety of ‘mold inspection’ companies springing up. Most were
under-qualified; some were disreputable. Seeing this alarming trend,
Michael founded Mold Inspection Sciences in Los Angeles to work hand
in hand with homeowners, real estate agents, and prospective
home buyers. We have hundreds of satisfied clients, many have
written testimonials about our services.
Currently we serve clients in all of Austin, San Antonio, Central Texas,
the Los Angeles Metro area, San Diego, Orange County,
Riverside County, and San Bernardino County.
Although we are relatively new members here in Central Texas, we
have been a member of the Better Business Bureau in Southern
California since January of 2003 and we have an AA rating.
